Volunteer Opportunities
Lobby Leader Volunteer: As a Lobby Leader Volunteer, you are on the front lines of first impressions with students and helping them connect with others while displaying Christ’s love. There are several areas to serve in the lobby, including checking in students, welcoming new students in our VIP section, getting students involved with the different games, and serving in our cafe area! While this role does not require any experience, it does require you to help make students feel welcomed and loved. This is a 10-month commitment (school year).
Small Group Leader: As a Youth Small Group Leader, you see young lives changed through the power of discipleship and relationship. Small group leaders are meant to be consistent figures in the students’ lives that encourage and support them. A Small Group leader contributes to this by attending Youth Sunday night, spiritually mentoring students, and facilitating discussion on small group nights. Leaders are expected to attend Youth (5 pm – 8 pm) at least three times a month. Additional time outside of Sunday nights may be expected to participate in small group activities and student events (sports games, plays, etc.). Leaders must be at least 18 years old and regularly attend Praise.
